Culture and Tradition
For centuries Matcha green tea was Japan’s best kept secret. It’s not just that Matcha is packed full of nutritional goodness, it has a rich history, steeped in tradition and cultural practices. Originally cultivated and produced byZen Buddhist monks, Matcha was the reserve of nobleman and shogun royalty before becoming a staple of Japanese culture. We take pride in honouring that history and those traditions.
